About the position

Join the Clean Energy Revolution as an Energy Efficiency Reporting Senior Analyst at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you'll be part of a team responsible for external Commission reporting, internal management reporting, responding to data requests and ad hoc financial and data analysis. This position will work with energy usage data, load patterns or grid conditions. Responsibilities

  • Takes action on energy efficiency and demand response programs to optimize energy usage during peak periods
  • Analyzes program reports and dashboard to identify conservation targets
  • Coordinates program events with leadership and senior individual contributors
  • Reviews complex energy usage data, load patterns, and grid conditions to identify potential opportunities and optimize program effectiveness
  • Participates in meetings with internal teams, such as grid operations, customer service, and marketing, to ensure seamless integration of programs with overall utility operations and customer engagement efforts
  • Reviews compliance and regulatory requirements and guidelines related to programs, including reporting obligations and adherence to program rules and protocols
  • Recommends program effectiveness ideas and identify areas for improvement for all program related activities (i.e. training)
  • Contributes in meetings with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry associations, and technology providers, to stay informed about industry trends, share best practices, and foster collaboration for the advancement of programs
  • Serves as an expert and training lead for all program related topics
  • Ensures the protection of all physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accesses and manages private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience working with demand response principles, customer programs, or conservation/efficiency initiatives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline.
  • Strong data analytic skills.
  • Experience with Excel, Access, Power BI and/or Power Apps.
  • Experience in analyzing, reconciling and/or cleansing large data sets.
