American Traveler is seeking an Endoscopy Technician for a contract position in Burlington, Vermont. This role involves providing specialized care in endoscopy procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and supporting the medical team during procedures. Responsibilities
- Assist in endoscopic procedures by preparing the necessary equipment and instruments.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the medical team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately.
Requirements
- 1+ year of recent experience in endoscopy specialty and setting.
- Valid nursing license as required by Vermont.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA recommended and may be required.
- Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required.
