About the position
The position involves maintaining all disinfecting equipment, cleaning and disinfecting all endoscopes and ancillary endoscopic equipment, and maintaining the cleaning room. The role also includes assisting the nurse in the procedure room before, during, and after procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all disinfecting equipment
- Clean and disinfect all endoscopes and ancillary endoscopic equipment
- Maintain the cleaning room
- Assist the nurse in the procedure room prior to, during, and after procedures
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Current RI CNA license
- CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years CNA experience preferably in a hospital setting

- Participate in continuing education to enhance clinical knowledge related to age and disease-specific populations
