About the position

We are hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients. This is a full-time opportunity with flexible schedules and a $2,000 sign-on bonus with commitment. Starting pay is $15/hr, commensurate with experience, and sponsorship opportunities are available to further EMS education. Positions are available in Northern New Mexico locations including Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Los Lunas, and Santa Fe.

Responsibilities

• Provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize appropriate EMT skills to provide care, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency medical response vehicles.
• Collaborate professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State EMT License
• State Driver's License
• BLS, NREMT certification
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.
