The Division Manager for Workforce Services at Contra Costa County is responsible for overseeing operations and policy for various benefit programs including CalFresh, CalWORKs, Welfare-to-Work, and Medi-Cal. Responsibilities
- Manage operations and policy for CalFresh, CalWORKs, Welfare-to-Work, and Medi-Cal benefit programs.
- Oversee supervisory staff and program analysts to facilitate eligibility and policy dissemination.
- Work cooperatively with stakeholders to ensure program compliance with regulations.
- Foster a culture of trust and accountability within the team.
- Drive the future vision of the Workforce Services Bureau.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Social or Behavioral Sciences, or a closely related field.
- Five years of full-time experience in a professional administrative position in social services, with two years at a supervisory or management level.
- Strong customer service skills and experience in data analysis.
- Excellent communication and strategic planning skills.
