The Employee Relations Business Partner (ERBP) at Capital Group plays a crucial role in fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace environment. This position involves resolving complex employee relations cases, providing training and resources, and utilizing analytical skills to enhance the employee relations philosophy while minimizing business risks. The ERBP collaborates with HR Business Partners, the Legal Department, and various business leaders to ensure effective handling of employee relations matters and lead internal investigations, ensuring quality and timely resolutions.
Responsibilities
- Resolve complex employee relations cases and provide guidance to HR Business Partners and leaders.
- Curate training and resources to promote a respectful workplace environment.
- Conduct internal workplace investigations, ensuring quality and timeliness of results.
- Utilize analytics to advance employee relations philosophy and mitigate business risks.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive case data for ongoing and future reference.
- Manage multiple investigations and performance management concerns in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws.
- Experience in employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Ability to conduct trend analysis with large data sets.
- Strong organizational skills to manage project work and ongoing responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm in confrontational situations.
