About the position

The Employee Benefits Specialist provides exceptional customer service and support to both internal and external clients. This role is responsible for the timely and accurate set-up, ongoing maintenance, and support of client accounts for Health & Benefits (H&B) and COBRA. The specialist maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the products and services supported by the agency, ensuring timely and accurate problem resolution to support client retention goals.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate timely set-up and process all documentation related to the setup and maintenance of client accounts.
  • Research and resolve product and service issues from the field and clients, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial and insurance transactions.
  • Perform data input while maintaining strong prioritization and organizational skills and professional communications.
  • Participate in product-related projects or training sessions, as required.

Requirements

  • Customer service in a business-to-business setting.
  • Administration and benefits administration.
  • Insurance verification and billing.
  • Documentation control and data input.
  • Payroll and benefits management.

Nice-to-haves

  • High School Diploma.
  • Strong organizational skills and professional communication.
  • Experience in benefits management preferred.
