About the position
The Emergency Medicine Physician at AdventHealth ER Central Pasco will provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, serving a community with an annual emergency department volume of 14,000 patients. The role involves collaboration with a dedicated team and access to advanced medical technology and specialists, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with on-call specialists including Cardiology, Neurology, and Orthopedics.
- Utilize advanced medical technology such as ultrasound and video laryngoscopy.
- Participate in the hospital's clinical governance and management tools.
- Engage in professional development programs and continuous medical education.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine or eligibility for board certification.
- Active medical license in the state of Florida.
- Experience in a high-volume emergency department setting.
Nice-to-haves
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty of emergency medicine.
- Experience with advanced bedside technology.
