About the position
The Embedded Software Engineer Co-op position at Danbury Mission Technologies offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software engineering, specifically in embedded programming. This role involves coding, testing, and documentation in support of software development activities, providing a solid foundation in developing production-quality code while working alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Code development in C, C#, C, and Python.
- Software test development and execution.
- Creation and updates for requirements, test plan, and release documentation.
Requirements
- University Junior or Senior.
- Working towards a BS/BE in Computer Science or preferably Computer Engineering.
- Experience programming in C or C#.
- Interest in embedded programming and working with hardware.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Design.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience programming in Python is preferred but not required.
- Experience using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) is preferred but not required.
