About The Position

Boat Group is seeking an Email Producer to join our growing Performance Marketing team to support daily email marketing operations for the Division to drive efficiency and the pursuit of data-driven optimizations to improve results. The ideal candidate combines operational excellence and superb email subject matter expertise and will be responsible for the end-to-end creation and execution of marketing automations and ad-hoc email campaigns. This person will report into the Email Marketing Director, spending much of their time handling email requests, building in Marketo or other email tools, while providing support for producing emails through to final build, QA, testing, tracking and deployment. In some situations, it may require using advanced troubleshooting to address technical challenges. Primary Purpose: Implementation of the build and production of email marketing communications to drive forward the optimization and execution of Boat Group email programs. This is a critical role as part of the Performance Marketing team, working in lock step with the Email Marketing channel lead to deliver highly effective and personalized email marketing campaigns. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, information technology or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of direct Marketo experience within email marketing implementation.
  • Email platform experience inclusive of tools such as Knak or Litmus with basic code editing skills to optimize and modify assets for email as needed.
  • Marketing Platforms experience like Salesforce CRM and Adobe CDP a plus.
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills.
  • Critical thinking and ability to understand business needs and connect needs to technical roadmaps and solutions.
  • Solutions oriented mindset that enables collaboration across multiple teams.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Must have an aptitude for technical challenges as well as business acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Creating managing and optimizing email marketing campaigns to achieve lead funnel strategies and other business goals consistently.
  • Developing and implementing email customer segmentation, smart list and targeting strategy.
  • Status meetings with email team lead in pursuit of executing email deliverables on time and within project scope.
  • Creating automation workflows and continuously optimizing each step to maximize engagement.
  • Utilize your technical expertise in coordination with Marketing Technology to implement advanced automation workflows and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain, enhance and develop innovative marketing automations for lifecycle and nurture campaigns.
  • Support the generation and implementation of testing strategies, including Email A/B testing to drive qualified traffic and revenue-building activities improvements that could potentially increase conversions.
  • Regularly auditing email Marketo instances and marketing efforts to provide actionable recommendations to accelerate success or address gaps in performance.
  • Execution of marketing best practices, including configuration and maintenance of campaign and nurture workflows, program builds, and associated reporting metrics.
  • Assist with technical feasibility, implementation approach, deployment strategies, and QA effort.
  • Configure and execute Smart Campaigns in Marketo, leveraging their dynamic capabilities for targeted and responsive marketing efforts.
  • Utilize Marketo Flow Actions to automate complex marketing processes, enhancing campaign execution and operational efficiency.
