About the position

The position is for an Elementary (Primary Grade) Special Education Teacher for a Self-Contained, MD (Multiple Disabilities) setting at Jaggard Elementary. The teacher will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom environment. The role requires collaboration with other staff and stakeholders to ensure a positive learning experience for all students.

Requirements

• Candidate must hold a valid NJ Teacher of the Handicapped certificate or Teacher of Students with Disabilities and K-6 certificates
• Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate with all staff and stakeholders in a positive manner
