About the position
The Electronics Repair Technician role involves addressing customer equipment maintenance and repair needs, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and efficient service. The technician will focus on calibrating electronic equipment, developing troubleshooting skills, and acting as a liaison between customers and various departments to resolve issues effectively.
Responsibilities
- Calibrating electronic equipment
- Developing troubleshooting and repair skills
- Supporting customer calibration and maintenance of micro contamination monitoring equipment
- Researching customer problems and complaints
- Acting as a liaison between customers and various departments
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Electronics or military equivalent
- Ability to read schematics in English
- Knowledge of A/D and D/A converters, microprocessors, analog and digital circuits
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of helium neon lasers
- Experience with collecting and condensing optics
