About the position

The Electronics Repair Technician role at Aerotek involves troubleshooting and repairing electronic products used in the dental industry. The position requires a strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems and the ability to work with various electronic devices and schematics. The technician will be responsible for ensuring that repaired products meet quality standards through acceptance testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic products used in the dental industry, including ultrasonic cleaners, LED curing lights, sterilizing ovens, high-frequency electro-surgical devices, and dental scalers.
  • Perform acceptance testing of products after repair and complete associated documentation.
  • Work with schematics, drawings, and test procedures.
  • Utilize various electrical meters, scopes, high voltage leak detection equipment, and other devices for troubleshooting.
  • Conduct mechanical repair and assembly of equipment.
  • Disassemble and troubleshoot equipment, documenting issues and performing repairs.
  • Dismantle defective equipment and install new and/or repaired parts.
  • Solder and desolder electronic components.

Requirements

  • Electro-mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic assembly and repair.
  • Mechanical assembly and repair skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and printed circuit boards.
  • Testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits.

Nice-to-haves

  • Mechanical, electrical, and electronics repair proficiency.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
