About the position
The Electronics Quality Inspector at Sanmina Corporation is responsible for ensuring the quality of circuit card assemblies by inspecting them for conformance to IPC 610 and J-Standards, as well as customer requirements. This role involves performing in-process and finish inspections during electronic and mechanical assemblies, ensuring adherence to industry standards and assembly documentation.
Responsibilities
- Inspect electrical assembly soldering per customer standards and IPC 610 requirements and J-Standards.
- Perform in-process inspections on assembly processes to confirm conformance to standard and customer requirements.
- Inspect mechanical parts and assemblies using tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Perform finish inspections including documentation review and audits.
- Familiarize suppliers with established processes, policies, procedures, and standards.
- Record and maintain inspection records of type and number of defects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a QA Inspector.
- Experience with PCBA's and soldering assembly inspections applying requirements of IPC 610 and J-Standard.
- Good communication skills and ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure delivery requirements.
- IPC Training Certification within the past 5 years.
- High school diploma/GED.
