About the position
The Electrician position is responsible for maintaining electrical fixtures and equipment property-wide, ensuring a high level of guest service as per departmental standards. The role involves performing various electrical duties, including adding circuits, panels, switches, transformers, lighting, and outlets. The Electrician will also work with the power company during adverse weather conditions to ensure generators are operational and set up temporary power services for special events. Additionally, the position requires assisting in planning electrical layouts and performing electrical duties related to expansion and demolition.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical duties including adding circuits, panels, switches, transformers, lighting, and outlets.
- Work with power company during bad weather to ensure generators are running.
- Set up temporary power services for special events.
- Assist in planning electrical layouts.
- Perform electrical duties for expansion and demolition.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- State of Minnesota Class A Journey-worker Electrician license, preferably State of Minnesota Class A Master Electrician license.
- Detailed knowledge of current National Electrical Code.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, panels, switches, transformers, lighting, and outlets.
