About the position
The Electrician II is responsible for performing electrical repair and maintenance on billboards and facilities, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and building codes. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing systems related to digital LED signage, maintaining tools and equipment, and responding to emergency calls as needed.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and lighting systems for billboards.
- Maintain accurate log of completed jobs.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, building codes, and National Electrical Code.
- Troubleshoot and repair systems related to digital LED signage.
- Maintain inventory of company-owned tools, equipment, and materials.
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Respond to emergency calls as needed.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, and safe work practices.
- Maintain local purchase and other records for parts and materials needed to complete work.
- May supervise lower level electricians.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Must possess valid in-state driver's license suitable for light commercial vehicles.
- Mathematical acumen to perform basic calculations.
- Ability to interpret a variety of situations and instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating system and email competency.
