About The Position

An Electrician II will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential setting. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical codes and the ability to read blueprints, diagnose issues, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in electrical installation and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, conduit benders, and testing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a variety of environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan electrical installations.
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes.
• Perform inspections and conduct routine maintenance on existing systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement timely solutions.
• Collaborate with general contractors and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Provide guidance and oversight to apprentices or less experienced electricians.
