Electrician - Engineering - PRN

About the position

The Electrician performs electrical testing, installation, repairs and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and daily maintenance on varied building equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing, installation, repairs and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Conduct daily maintenance on varied building equipment and systems.

Requirements

• High school education degree or equivalent.
• Current Master Electrician's license preferred or at least 2 years journeyman experience.
• Thorough knowledge of general construction methods.
• Understand safe working practices for all voltages and equipment types.
• High proficiency in interpreting drawing, details, and specifications.
• Operate other power equipment.
• Valid Drivers license required.
• Computer software and keyboard knowledge mandatory.
• Must be able to wear appropriate mask and be fit tested on an annual basis.

Nice-to-haves

• Post secondary education or formal technical training highly desirable.
