About The Position
We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Supervisor to lead installation teams across a range of industrial and mining projects. This role is critical to ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards, often in remote and challenging environments. You will play a key role in coordinating site activities, managing teams, interfacing with clients, and supporting project delivery from planning through to execution. Initially, you will be involved in E-House builds at Cape Town Harbour, supporting a high impact project environment.
Requirements
- 4+ years in electrical engineering or construction
- 3+ years in a supervisory role
- Experience in industrial, construction, or mining environments
- Proven experience working on remote project sites
- Electrical Trade Test or Electrical Diploma
- Registered (or willing to register) as an Installation Electrician
- Strong leadership and team management ability
- Solid understanding of MV & LV installations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and contracts
- Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical installation teams on-site
- Ensure that work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and timelines
- Coordinate activities across contractors and project stakeholders
- Plan daily and weekly work schedules
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment for each project
- Align site activities with project programs and milestones
- Attend site meetings and liaise directly with clients
- Provide regular progress updates and reports
- Ensure that all site instructions are properly approved and documented
- Drive a strong safety culture on-site (SHEQ compliance)
- Conduct toolbox talks and maintain safety documentation
- Ensure that quality standards are met with minimal rework
- Lead and manage installation crews and subcontractors
- Oversee productivity, discipline, and performance on-site
- Assist with scope definition, BOQs, and quotations
- Support MV & LV installation design where required
- Coordinate material deliveries and control site resources
