This position involves a variety of tasks related to electrical engineering, including design, simulation, and hands-on work in a lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Solder
• Design Schematics using Altium
• Run circuit simulations (Multisim, etc.)
• Build Circuits (PCB hardware)
• Debug circuits
• Build cables
• Spec out chips/components
• Understand EMF/Ohm's Law/OP Amps/Etc.
• Use Oscilloscope or Waveform Generator
• Use DMM
• Use Power supply
• Create/understand datasheets and BOM's
• Program microcontrollers (Arduino, raspberry pi, etc.)
• Code in C++, Matlab, LabView, etc.
• Work with robotics
• Work with wireless communications (radios)
• Understand IT/Networking

Requirements

• BSEE or MSEE
• 5+ years of experience
• 3+ years of design experience of integrated systems requiring control feedback loops (process control systems)
• Proficient in Windows based computing (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficient in ORCAD Capture and/or Altium
• Hands-on capability in a lab setting (soldering, drilling, wiring, crimping, use of hand tools)
• Ability to program in basic programming languages such as C/C++
• CAD software proficiency in software such as CREO considered desirable
• Must clearly speak, read, and write English
