About the position

As an Electrical Engineer Resident specializing in Air Suspension, you will play a crucial role in the development, application, and validation of Electronic Suspension Systems. This position involves collaborating with global engineering teams, understanding and communicating technical specifications, and ensuring compliance with legal and customer requirements. You will be responsible for electric testing and data management throughout the development lifecycle, while also supporting customer communications regarding electrical components.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct electric testing to support the development and validation of Electronic Suspension Systems.
  • Understand and communicate legal, customer, and internal electrical requirements for air suspension and active damping.
  • Engage in detailed customer communication regarding technical specifications for ECU components.
  • Analyze and report data to ensure traceability to requirements.
  • Identify and resolve nonconformities against requirements or timelines.
  • Support customer communications on electrical component topics.
  • Evaluate and track electrical testing throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical fields.
  • Knowledge of ECU production, communication, and logistics.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver quality results with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Passion, dedication, and commitment to the role.
  • Ability to travel throughout the year.
  • Knowledge of vehicle mechanics, electronics, and dynamics.
  • Experience in technical project leadership.
  • Experience with vehicle dynamics, chassis, or suspension development.
  • Familiarity with Continental's product development and release process.
