Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks an Electrical Engineer to serve as Electrical Design & Analysis Engineer on the Electrical Engineering Capability Team in Huntsville, Alabama. The Electrical Engineering Capability team is responsible for design and sustainment and upgrades of next generation electronics concepts, as well as supporting production and special test equipment design for increasing capacity requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the integration of designs with other hardware and software components and systems.
  • Support test system requirements and verification methodologies.
  • Support circuit board designs for engineering and operational systems.
  • Review testing and analysis activities to assure compliance to requirements.
  • Support test plans and procedures development and test events.
  • Support Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and resolutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • Experience integrating hardware and software components into a functional system.
  • Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
  • Experience in the development of test system requirements and verification methodologies.
  • Experience designing circuit board level test equipment for engineering and lab use.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's or higher in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
  • Troubleshooting circuit card anomalies and nonconformances.
  • Circuit analysis experience (tools such as LTSpice, ICAP).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Siemens EDM Design Suite (formerly Mentor Graphics).
  • CCA / PCB design experience.
