Electrical Apprentice

About the position

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Electrician. This position offers the opportunity to learn and develop skills in the electrical trade under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems
• Learn to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts
• Assist with testing electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters
• Work on commercial and residential projects under supervision
• Handle and maintain hand tools and power tools used in electrical work
• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times, especially on construction sites

Requirements

• Strong interest in pursuing a career as a commercial electrician
• Familiarity with frame carpentry for installation purposes
• Proficiency in using hand tools commonly used in electrical work
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to lift moderate weights and work on construction sites

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with power tools commonly used in electrical work
