Requirements
- Must be well organized.
- Able to work efficiently.
- Demonstrate good time management skills.
- Willingness to learn how to measure, bend and install electrical conduit to include EMT and MC.
- Willing to learn how to set fixtures and install devices.
- Willing to learn how to interpret and understand job drawings.
- Ability to achieve the weekly benchmark objectives established by the foreman.
- Ensure safe work practices and maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Utilize all assigned PPE as appropriate for the hazards encountered.
- Maintain a personal tool cache including hand tools, drill, drivers and all necessary attachments.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in the field completing assigned tasks and functions is beneficial.
- Apprentice training certifications are beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of electrical systems in new construction, upfit, and remodel projects.
- Work under the supervision of a crew leader or foreman and provide assistance to the assigned mechanic.
- Maintain a clean and clear work environment.
- Maintain an organized tool and material gang box.
- Assist with tool and equipment accountability.
- Learn to measure, bend, and install electrical conduit (EMT and MC).
- Assist with the setup for wire installation, pulling wire, and operating wire tuggers.
- Learn to set fixtures and install devices.
- Learn to interpret and understand job drawings.
- Achieve weekly benchmark objectives established by the foreman.
- Ensure safe work practices and maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Utilize all assigned PPE as appropriate for the hazards encountered.
- Maintain a positive work environment that promotes a culture of safety and open communication.
- Maintain a personal tool cache including hand tools, drill, drivers, and all necessary attachments.
