About the position
The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist works with the business unit and Corporate EHS staff to support Coterra's workforce safety and environmental stewardship efforts. The incumbent assists the Safety & Environmental Manager in maintaining compliance to Company standards by conducting worksite assessments, training, emergency response and incident analysis. The EHS Specialist can live in the Southeastern region of New Mexico or West Texas.
Responsibilities
- Conduct worksite assessments to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Assist in training employees on safety protocols and environmental practices.
- Support emergency response efforts and participate in incident analysis.
- Collaborate with Corporate EHS staff to implement safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience in Environmental, Health & Safety roles, preferably in the energy sector.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance standards.
- Strong communication and training skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with incident analysis and emergency response planning.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the Southeastern region of New Mexico or West Texas.
