About the position
The Educational Diagnostician will be responsible for assessing students' educational needs and providing support services to enhance their learning experience. This role involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure compliance with special education regulations. The diagnostician will conduct evaluations, interpret assessment results, and provide recommendations for instructional strategies and interventions. Additionally, the position requires ongoing monitoring of student progress and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct educational assessments and evaluations for students with suspected disabilities.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for instructional strategies.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and progress.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification.
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
