The position involves evaluating the intellectual, emotional, and behavioral functioning of referred students to determine their eligibility for special education services. The role requires selecting and administering assessments, scoring and interpreting test data, and participating in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee to assist with the development of Individual Education Plans (IEP). The educational diagnostician will also provide staff development training, consult with teachers and parents, and maintain necessary documentation and compliance with federal and state regulations.
