About the position
Soliant is seeking a skilled and compassionate Educational Diagnostician to join a supportive educational team near Plano, TX. This role focuses on assessing students' learning needs and developing strategies for their success, ensuring compliance with educational regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct educational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to interpret assessment results
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide recommendations for services
- Provide consultation to staff on student progress and accommodations
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding student assessments and services
Requirements
- Masters degree in Educational Diagnostician, Special Education, or a related field
- Active Educational Diagnostician certification in Texas
- Minimum 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in educational assessment and working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
