About The Position

Douglass Community Services is seeking an Education Team Leader to help lead and strengthen our Head Start program. This rewarding leadership role provides support and oversight for the Education, Disabilities, Mental Health, and Coaching components of the program while helping ensure children and families receive high-quality early childhood services that promote growth, learning, and school readiness. The Education Team Leader works closely with teachers, families, administrative staff, and community partners to support classroom success, staff development, and continuous program improvement across our service area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to complete required CLASS and curriculum certifications

Nice To Haves

  • Preschool teaching experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Responsibilities
