The Education Director at Merakey is responsible for the operational leadership of the school, ensuring that program regulations and best practices are implemented and maintained. This role involves providing administrative, educational, and clinical program direction, as well as ensuring compliance with educational state mandates for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for endorsing Merakey Core Values throughout daily program operations
• Oversees the profit and loss for program(s)
• Manages daily operation of program(s)
• Ensures contractual requirements and Merakey policies, procedures and best practices are met
• Implements policies/procedures as directed
• Ensure compliance to state, local, federal, and contract requirements as well as requirements from state education agencies and payors
• Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships, both internal and external
• Responsible for fidelity of educational and clinical components of program
• Maintains HIPAA and FERPA guidelines in all aspects of work environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited and recognized organization with a Special Education Certification
• Master's Degree in Special Education from an accredited and recognized organization
• Supervisory/Principal Certificate or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Certification, preferred
• 1-3 years working in an educational setting
