About the position

The Education Coordinator at Child Development Schools plays a crucial role in enhancing educational quality within the organization. This position involves supporting classroom monitoring, program development, and the effective implementation of the HighReach Learning curriculum. The coordinator provides guidance to teachers, ensuring a positive educational experience for children and families, while also fostering teacher and family retention efforts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to plan, teach, and implement the HighReach Learning curriculum and activity plans across all age groups.
• Support teacher and family retention by providing resources and knowledge to educators.
• Evaluate classroom environments using assessment tools and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to teachers to foster continuous improvement.
• Conduct formal and informal classroom observations, sharing feedback with teachers and administration.
• Support positive interactions between staff and children, promoting a nurturing environment.
• Assist with new employee training and mentorship, ensuring staff are equipped with necessary skills.
• Attend monthly Education Coordinator calls to maintain knowledge of company goals and best practices.
• Foster a welcoming environment for children, families, and teachers.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in early childhood education.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Positive, creative, energetic, and innovative mindset.
• Proficiency in HighReach Learning curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of classroom arrangement and age-appropriate practices.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with diverse learning styles.
• Experience in lesson planning and activity development.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
