About the position

The Engineering Development Program (EDP) at Picone is a three-year, full-time initiative designed for recent college graduates. It focuses on professional development and career progression within Dragados USA and its affiliates. Participants will gain hands-on experience through structured training, mentorship, and networking opportunities, allowing them to apply their academic knowledge to real-world projects and develop essential skills for successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on professional and technical development on project sites and through classroom/online courses.
• Engage in quarterly cohort training sessions with peers across the US.
• Receive ongoing feedback and assessments to support professional growth.
• Build client relationships and understand project delivery roles.

Requirements

• Recently graduated or pending graduation with a degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Graduation date must be Fall 2024 or Spring 2025.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Previous relevant internship experience in the construction industry is highly preferred.
• Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no sponsorship provided.
• Basic proficiency with AutoCAD and Primavera, strong technical skills, and ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills.
