About the position
ECM Transport, LLC is looking to add motivated and reliable Class A CDL drivers in the Dubois, PA area to join their group! The position involves driving solo with no touch freight, primarily operating within a defined region. Drivers can expect to leave out on Sunday and return by Friday night or Saturday morning, with the option to stay out longer if desired. The average weekly mileage is between 2,500 to 2,700 miles, with most loads running in states such as Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. There are occasional loads to Georgia, Florida, West Virginia, New York (excluding NYC), and Illinois. The company provides new model Freightliners equipped with a fridge, inverter, and air release fifth wheel, and all loads are transported using 53' swing door dry vans. The majority of the freight is drop and hook, with about 70% of loads falling into this category.
Responsibilities
- Drive solo as a Class A CDL driver
- Transport freight primarily in the Midwest and East Coast regions
- Maintain an average of 2,500-2,700 miles per week
- Ensure timely delivery of loads
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Must have 1 year verifiable Class A driving experience and a certificate from a driving school, or 2 years verifiable driving experience
- Must be at least 23 years old
