Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Cardiology Registered Echo Tech in Topeka, KS. This role focuses on performing echocardiographic diagnostic imaging and cardiac testing procedures to support quality patient care. The position emphasizes teamwork, professional development, and effective communication with patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality echocardiographic diagnostic imaging to support quality patient care.
- Perform quality cardiac testing procedures such as Echo Stress Testing to support quality diagnosis & treatment of patients.
- Contribute to the professional development of all team members and provide monitoring and mentoring of students to ensure proper training in assisting patients, families and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients about the procedure to obtain information and to offer reassurance.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree; may substitute degree for graduation from an accredited school of Echocardiography Technology.
- Must obtain CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of hire date.
- One year of hands-on experience in Echocardiography in a comparable healthcare setting.
