About the position
The Early Preschool Teacher position at KidzPointe Academy is designed for individuals who are passionate about working with young children aged 2-3. This role focuses on creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment where children can develop their social skills and self-esteem through various educational techniques. The position is full-time and offers training for those who may not have prior experience in early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Develop a careful and creative program suitable for children ages 2-3
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
- Guide children to develop their capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
- Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Communicate with parents regularly
- Collaborate with other educators
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Requirements
- Childcare experience (1 year preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Early childhood education knowledge
- Classroom experience
