About The Position

Watermark Health is seeking a compassionate Early Prenatal Care (EPC) Provider to join their team. This role is crucial in building an Early Prenatal Care Service Line, focusing on caring for under-resourced pregnancies, including miscarriage management and post-abortive care within the first trimester. The provider will serve as a leader and a compassionate example of valuing life and the God-given worth of every mom, baby, and family.

Requirements

  • Licensed provider (NP, PA, APRN-CNM, MD, or DO) in good standing
  • 2 years of Women’s Health experience in a provider role
  • Passionate about providing life-affirming care for women and children
  • Proficiency in sonogram technique and interpretation
  • Strong in problem-solving, attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and anticipating future needs
  • High self-initiative with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
  • Have made a life commitment to Jesus Christ
  • Agreement in writing with the Beliefs and Governance statements of Watermark Community Church and Watermark Health
  • Work history and lifestyle that are consistent with biblical principles
  • Active member in good standing at a local church that affirms the 7 Core Beliefs of Watermark Community Church

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with referral OBs, partner clinics, and support agencies to provide holistic care for patients.
  • If APP, work with an overseeing physician and other volunteers to develop the scope, policies, and procedures for this service line.
  • Provide patient care for pregnancy confirmation, sonograms, first trimester visits, miscarriage management within practice scope, and post-abortive care within practice scope.
  • Stay mission true in initiating spiritual conversations and providing pastoral care in patient conversations.
  • Support Urgent Care patients with Women’s Health related concerns as schedule permits.
  • In partnership with the EPC Coordinator, help with patient enrollment in ministry and social support resources.
  • Provide life-affirming support and guidance for women experiencing unexpected pregnancies.
  • Demonstrate spiritual leadership, comfortable with evangelism and pastoral care.
  • Provide spiritual leadership over Early Prenatal Care volunteers.
