About The Position

Young Interventions, Inc. is seeking an Early Intervention Specialist in Riverside County, specifically in the Indio, Palm Desert, La Quinta, Coachella, and surrounding Low Desert areas. This position can be either part-time or full-time, requiring at least 20 client hours per week plus drive time. The organization is committed to improving the quality of life for infants and toddlers with or at risk of developmental disabilities. The role involves working with children in family homes to implement personalized, family-focused treatment programs using a Routines-Based Parent Coaching Model. Services are primarily delivered in client homes but may include virtual sessions due to illness or special circumstances. Caseloads may be a mix of in-person and virtual services based on client needs and preferences. The position requires travel to home visits within the specified areas, with an effort to center caseloads around preferred locations.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Psychology, or a related field.
Solid knowledge of basic stages of Infant/Toddler Child Development.
Minimum of 1-year experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
Hold a valid Driver's License.
Have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various home-based sites throughout the day (within a 30-mile radius).
Maintain current Vehicle Insurance & Registration.
Maintain current CPR Certification (Infant, Child & Adult).
Have current TB clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Children with Special Needs.
Ability to speak and read fluently in Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin.

Responsibilities
