We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized family service plans (IFSPs) and individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each child.
  • Use evidence-based practices to create engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Collaborate with families, therapists, and support staff to address the needs of each student.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
  • Provide direct instruction and support in areas such as communication, motor skills, self-regulation, and pre-academic skills.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Participate in professional development and training to stay current on best practices in special education.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification in Early Childhood Special Education (state-specific).
  • Experience working with children ages Birth-5 with diverse needs, including developmental delays and disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of IFSP and IEP development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for working with young children and their families.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Special Education.
