About the position
The Early Childhood Music Instructor position at Arabesque Conservatory of Music is a contract role focused on providing private music lessons to young students in their homes. Responsibilities
- Teaching private lessons to students in-home
- Preparing lessons that are tailored to students' needs
- Helping students to develop confidence in their performance skills and general musicianship
- Documenting and reporting on students' progress
Requirements
- Bachelor of Music degree or equivalent
- Experience with special needs highly preferred
- A record of effective teaching experience in private instruction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong command of technology to support teaching
- Driver License and Reliable Transportation Required
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in teaching music to young children
- Ability to teach multiple instruments
