In this role, the eRNDC Sales Specialist will play a crucial part in accelerating RNDC's eCommerce activation and customer ordering processes. The primary objective is to enhance the local market teams' experience and comfort with the eRNDC platform. The Sales Specialist will possess a deep understanding of all current digital enablement capabilities, including eRNDC, CRM functionality, and eCommerce activation, serving as a field Subject Matter Expert. This position requires the ability to articulate the practical benefits of utilizing the eRNDC platform to customers, activating a targeted list of potential eRNDC customers, and managing the customer activation process from initial contact to the placement of their first order. The Sales Specialist will engage with and advise commercial leaders and field teams to assist in activating accounts, collaborating with commercial teams post-visit to provide relevant updates and schedule follow-up visits as necessary. This role is integral to RNDC's strategic objective of leading in digital sales and marketing capabilities, and it offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about the beverage alcohol distribution industry.

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate RNDC's eCommerce activation and customer ordering processes.
  • Possess a deep working knowledge of digital enablement capabilities including eRNDC and CRM functionality.
  • Articulate the practical benefits of doing business on the eRNDC platform to customers.
  • Activate a targeted list of potential eRNDC customers and manage the customer activation process from initial contact to order placement.
  • Engage with and advise commercial leaders and field teams to assist in activating accounts.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams post-visit and provide relevant updates.
  • Schedule follow-up visits as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 5+ years' experience in the beverage alcohol distribution industry.
  • Understanding of B2B commerce and commercial sales processes (eRNDC, GreatVines, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of change management and communication skills across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of wine and spirit categories and ability to influence peers.
  • Familiarity with social monitoring tools, Google Analytics, CMA, and DAM.
  • Solution-based mindset and positive attitude.
