About the position

The e-Commerce/Department Lead is responsible for assisting the Store e-Commerce manager in managing the daily operations of the store's e-Commerce department. Responsibilities

• Assist the Store e-Commerce manager in managing day-to-day operations of the e-Commerce department.
• Meet and exceed customer expectations for shopping ease, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Train team members in all functions and duties of the selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department in the absence of the Store e-Commerce manager.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associate needs.
• Maintain the intake of customer orders and distribute work to selectors and customer attendants.
• Print and distribute order labels, including for perishable departments.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain necessary supplies for operational duties and ensure cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report discrepancies in pricing, scanning, item location, and temperature types to the Store e-Commerce manager.
• Perform required opening and closing procedures.
• Implement process improvements as directed by the e-Commerce team.
• Provide feedback on team members' daily and annual performance.

Requirements

• Proven supervisory experience.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Self-directed with the ability to execute projects with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a production-oriented or warehouse environment.
• Experience stocking shelves or as a cashier.
