About the position

The Dual Director of Sales is responsible for leading the sales efforts for Teddy's Residential Suites and Little Missouri in Watford City, ND. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, securing new accounts, maintaining existing relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maximizing hotel profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to produce group business, including room sales, F&B sales, and catering/banquet services.
  • Attend networking events and maintain relationships with local community groups, companies, and trade organizations.
  • Conduct site tours for potential clients.
  • Maintain a customer database to track interactions and sales.
  • Develop contracts and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage the departmental budget and monitor sales activity to meet or exceed profit plans.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hotel sales experience.
  • Experience with multi-unit and multi-brand sales is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt sales processes and systems.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to work independently and display initiative and perseverance.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a team player mentality.
  • Professional demeanor and integrity in all interactions.
  • Availability to meet guests, including weekends.
  • Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
