About The Position

Western Express is seeking a Driver Manager to join their team. This role involves communicating daily with a team of drivers to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery of freight shipments. The Driver Manager will collaborate with other departments to meet company-wide initiatives and objectives, develop strong relationships with drivers, and serve as their main point of contact for any issues they experience on the road. A key aspect of this role is supporting drivers' professional growth within the organization and communicating safety expectations to ensure compliance with DOT regulations. The Driver Manager will also track freight to confirm timely delivery within allotted timeframes.

Requirements

Relevant sales or management experience in the transportation industry.
