About The Position

As a Box Truck Driver, your primary purpose is to provide customers with reliable and efficient sales and delivery of all products, as well as servicing, merchandising, rotation, and the successful completion of other related duties. This role involves selling, servicing, and negotiating programs with retail customers to increase company products and overall sales volume. You will manage, rotate, and maintain stock at retail, sort and pick up all breakage/empties, and create, develop, and maintain goodwill in every account. The driver is expected to honor all business and personal commitments with customers. Additionally, the role includes rotating, stocking, and merchandising product at every retail outlet, building and maintaining displays with proper POS, and stocking coolers, backrooms, and retail floor areas. Adherence to the company’s “Quality Assurance Policy” guidelines and other company policies is crucial. Route settlement responsibilities must be completed neatly and accurately. The driver must follow correct check-out and check-in procedures, be accountable for any product or monetary inaccuracies, and maintain a neat and professional appearance. Safe driving, obeying all laws, DOT requirements, and company policies are mandatory. Reporting vehicle damage and required maintenance to management, keeping the vehicle neat and clean, and reporting competitive activities to the supervisor are also key duties. Attendance at required meetings and adherence to company procedures and safety policies are expected. Other related duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • DOT Med Card required.
  • Strong problem solving/analysis skills
  • Customer/driver focus

  • Flexible
  • Aged 21 years or older
  • No felonies within the past two years
  • No alcohol or controlled substance related offenses within the past two years
  • No theft within the past two years
  • No more than one reckless driving charge within the past three years

Responsibilities

  • Complete all route settlement responsibilities neatly, accurately, and within the company guidelines.
  • Follow correct check-out and check-in procedures.
  • Be accountable for any product or monetary inaccuracies.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance, abiding by company policy.
  • Drive your vehicle safely and with courtesy, obeying all laws, DOT requirements, and company policies.
