Next-Door K9 Solutions is seeking experienced dog trainers to join their team in the DMV and surrounding areas. This role involves training dogs of various breeds and ages, utilizing different training techniques, and requires the ability to board and train dogs from home. The position offers flexibility in scheduling and emphasizes the importance of effective communication with clients.
Responsibilities
- Train dogs using various techniques including on-leash, off-leash, and behavior modification training.
- Board and train client pets in your home during the training process.
- Maintain a schedule with clients and ensure effective communication.
- Keep a neat appearance and maintain professionalism at all times.
- Be self-motivated and responsible for your own work schedule.
- Attend a working interview as part of the hiring process.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in dog training or apprenticeship.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to work with various types, breeds, and ages of dogs.
- Knowledge of food reward systems and e-collar training tools.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
