About the position

The Doctor's Technician at Stanton Optical plays a crucial role in enhancing the patient experience by serving as the first point of contact in the store. This part-time position involves providing exceptional customer service, facilitating sales, and ensuring a seamless transition between the clinical and retail teams. The technician is responsible for various tasks, including scheduling appointments, conducting pre-tests, and assisting with patient inquiries, all while maintaining the company's commitment to quality eye care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers upon entry and identify their needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Answer customer inquiries and gather necessary information to facilitate sales.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, enter new patient history, and complete pre-tests.
• Assist management with patient complaint resolution and ensure all patient expectations are met.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties to ensure brand standards are maintained.
• Execute simple customer repairs and assemble lenses into frames.
• Keep track of delivery time commitments to ensure compliance with service standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in customer service.
• Effective communication skills with a diverse group of people.
