Eastern Eye Associates, a privately owned and established optometry practice located in Williamsburg, VA, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Doctor of Optometry (OD) to join our growing team. Our practice is committed to providing high-quality eye care to patients of all ages and income levels. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art facility, equipped with the latest technology, including Optos, MR, and Goldmann IOP, ensuring that our doctors can deliver the best possible care. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive eye examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
  • Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and conditions.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and other vision aids as necessary.
  • Educate patients on eye health and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements

  • Valid Optometry License in Virginia.
  • Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a good work ethic.
  • Ability to work well with patients and staff.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a private practice setting.
  • Specialty training in areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or ocular disease.
