Ensure the dealer service department management provides competent, quality service that will enhance customer perception of product, the dealer and ownership experience and maximize their repeat purchase intent. Assist dealer in marketing Kia products and parts/accessory sales. Act as a business consultant in developing profitability and value of franchise.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and directs all District Service activities in accordance with KUS corporate and regional policies and procedures.
  • Manages and directs all District Parts activities in accordance with KUS corporate and regional policies and procedures.
  • Manages and directs all District Warranty activities in accordance with KUS corporate and regional policies and procedures.
  • Manages and directs all District Service Training activities in accordance with KUS corporate and regional policies and procedures.
  • Manages and directs all District Quality and Consumer Affairs activities in accordance with KUS corporate and regional policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Specialized OEM vocational or technical training.
  • Wholesale and retail dealership experience desirable.
  • Business consulting experience.
  • Demonstrated evidence of technical aptitude, either via formal education or hands-on automotive experience.
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve owner concerns consistent with KUS policies/procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft software.
  • Excellent communication skills required (written and oral).
