About the position

The District Manager at Hobart Service is responsible for leading and managing multiple branch operations to drive service revenue growth, profitability, and quality. This role involves strategic leadership and day-to-day management of a team, ensuring efficient budget use while meeting service revenue targets through collaboration with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct multiple branch operations to achieve service revenue growth and profitability.
• Manage and administer general business operations for assigned branches.
• Develop and maintain a highly technical field service team.
• Oversee installations, preventative maintenance, and equipment upgrades.
• Establish and grow customer relationships to meet financial metrics.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and talent development.
• Increase employee retention and engagement levels.
• Conduct hiring, training, and performance appraisals for staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or 1-3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
• Previous management experience is required.
• Knowledge of sales strategy and customer development.
• Experience managing a Profit & Loss statement and cost control.
• Mechanical aptitude and service/product knowledge for commercial food equipment.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of an Annual Operating Plan/Long Range Plan.
• Experience with inventory management and customer-facing metric management (KPI).
