About the position

Trulieve is seeking a dedicated Dispensary Associate to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This part-time position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and are interested in being part of one of the fastest-growing industries in the nation. As a Dispensary Associate, you will play a crucial role in guiding customers on their journey into cannabis, educating them about the benefits and potential side effects of various products. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that each patient receives the compassionate care they need. Our products are designed to alleviate symptoms associated with serious medical conditions, and your knowledge and support will help patients make informed decisions about their health and wellness. In this role, you will work closely with a specially trained staff and physicians to ensure that patients receive the right products and correct dosages. You will be expected to maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation, assist with patient orders, and document any customer issues or concerns. The Dispensary Associate will also assist managers and shift supervisors with returns and work directly with the leadership team to enhance the customer experience. This position requires a strong commitment to following Trulieve's policies and procedures while providing the TruExperience through elevated patient service standards and product knowledge. The ideal candidate will possess excellent people skills, be able to communicate effectively, and work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will need to be at least 21 years of age (or 18 in certain states) and have prior experience in retail or customer service, along with cash handling experience. This role may also require additional responsibilities as a Delivery Associate or Online Support, depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.
  • Provide empathy and compassion to patients.
  • Deliver the TruExperience through elevated patient service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge.
  • Assist Managers and Shift Supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
  • Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Follow Trulieve Policies and Procedures.
  • Work directly with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
  • Assist customers with any product or device issues.
  • Work with leadership and management to find solutions to customer issues.
  • Document customer issues and concerns on the customer's profile.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
  • Perform additional team tasks as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • High-school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field or in a similar field.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV).
  • Prior experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus.
  • Must have prior cash handling experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with a variety of personalities at various seniority levels.
  • Must possess excellent people skills and be able to communicate effectively with others in both verbal and written form.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff.
  • Ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Able to understand and follow written/oral instructions.
  • Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely.
  • Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties.
